WCH Trophy 2018

Welcome to WCH Trophy 2018 for players born 2005 or later.

All games will be played 2 x 20 minutes. Standard Swedish youth hockey rules apply.

The cup will be played with a group stage where 6 teams play a round robin schedule during Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The registered teams are SoS Kings, MM Hockey Green, MM Hockey White, WCH Blue, WCH Red, and WCH White.

At Sunday the tournament ends with the playoff stage. There will be three playoff games based on the final group stage table:
5:th place: Team 5 and 6 from the group stage.
Bronze: Team 3 and 4 from the group stage.
Final:  Team 1 and 2 from the group stage.

During the plyoffs a game that ends with a draw result at end of regulation time will be followed by a five minute sudded death overtime 4 on 4. If the standing is still draw after the overtime penalty shots will follow. First 3 different shooters in both teams will shoot three rounds. If the standing is still draw after these three rounds sudden death penalty rounds will follow. Here the teams can choose freely which player to shoot.

At the group stage the following rules apply in order to give the ranking of the teams of the the group.

When three or more teams are tied in points, continue to determine the standings of the remaining teams starting from the first rule (considering only the matches between the tied teams).
