Locker rooms

The locker room is in use half an hour before the start of the game and half an hour after the marked end time of the game. The teams do not have their own locker rooms, but the locker rooms are game-specific. There are 50 teams and 20 locker rooms, so team-specific locker rooms are not possible.

Games played in Ilmatar 1 use Ilmatar locker rooms 1-4, so that the home teams alternate between rooms 1 and 2 and the away teams between rooms 3 and 4. Games played in Ilmatar 2 use Ilmatar locker rooms 5-8 with the same system. Matches played in Ilmatar 3 use Ilmatar locker rooms 9-12.

Matches played in Matinkylä 4 use Matinkylä training rink locker rooms 1-4 and matches played in Matinkylä 5 use locker rooms 5-8.

The locker rooms are therefore always in the arena where the game is played. For the first games of the morning, the locker room is free and you can take your gear there earlier. It is important to note that the next team will be entering the locker room immediately, so it is desirable that the locker room is vacated as quickly as possible.

There are storage cages on the bottom floor of Ilmatar Arena where teams can take their stuff if they have a longer break during the day. There are 20 storage cages altogether, and unfortunately not every team can leave their stuff in the cages overnight. Overnight storage is possible only for teams who stay at a hotel.
