Tornaado New Year Cup 2023 Tournament Rules


The tournament is played according to SJL's U13 junior rules, with the following exceptions:

  1. The teams participating in the tournament will play a simple preliminary series.
  2. You get three (3) points for a won match and one (1) point for a draw. If the teams are tied, the teams' rankings will be decided as follows:
    1. scores of mutual matches
    2. goal difference between mutual matches
    3. goals scored in mutual matches
    4. Goal difference of the simple preliminary matches
    5. The goals scored in the simple preliminary matches
    6. The simple preliminary matches penalties
    7. lottery

3.  In the tournament, the playing time of the match is 2x20 min (total time max 60 min). There is a 1-minute break between halftimes. The teams do not switch sides during the break.
4. Overtimes are not allowed.
5. The number of players is not limited, but it must be reported to the tournament organizer no later than one (1) week before the start of the tournament. Changes to the lineups must be reported to the tournament office no later than 30 minutes before the start of the match. The players entered in the player list must be played evenly for each match.

7. The home team plays with a dark jersey and the away team with a light jersey. The teams can agree on a different arrangement for each match.
9. The team must be ready for the match 5 minutes before the match time. The late team is condemned to lose the match 5 - 0. After scoring a goal, celebrating on the field is allowed for players on the field. When substitutes will participate in celebrating on the field, a team penalty follows for delaying the game.
10. The tournament organizer is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur to players or employees. All players and officials participating in the tournament must be insured. On the part of the tournament organizer, people with first aid skills are present at the tournament. The tournament organizer is not responsible for possible cases of theft during the tournament.
11. Only the team manager can make an objection. The objection must be presented orally to the match referee and the opponent immediately after the end of the match and in writing to the tournament office within 15 minutes after the end of the match. The jury will consider the objection. The jury consists of the tournament manager and two other persons appointed by the tournament organizer. The jury does not justify its decision, and it cannot be appealed.
12. A match penalty and/or match penalty for behavior received by an official will automatically result in disqualification from the tournament. A game penalty received by a player automatically leads to a one match ban in the tournament and a match penalty to banning the player from the tournament.

13. The three best ranked teams of the tournament will be awarded with medals and the winner will receive a trophy. From each team, a champion player is awarded, who is chosen by the management of the respective team before the team's last match and informs the officials of this match.
14. The tournament organizer has the right to change the schedule, match system and match program for particularly pressing reasons. Participating teams will be notified of changes without delay.

15. We are committed to the rules of fair play, which include polite behavior and respect for others. We require this from participating teams and supporters. The jury of the tournament can judge the above team to lose 5 - 0 the game due to repeated shouting, insults or the like directed at the referees by players, supporters or coaches.
