Turex Cup 2024

Welcome to Turex Cup between 3–5th January 2024.

For the 47th time in history, one of Sweden’s most prestigious U13 cups is organized by Boo Hockey.

HOW WE PLAY

12 teams at AAA/AA level.

Players shall be born 2011 or later and the team must consist of at least 15+2 players.

All teams are guaranteed at least 6 games and at most 8 games.

Group games                                 DAY 1–2

Group games will consist of 2x15 minute stop-time periods. 

Teams are divided into 2 groups of 6 teams round. All teams play 5 games round robin, 2 games one day and 3 games second day. Games are played either in the morning or in the afternoon/evening.v

and will play a modified round robin format that includes four games for each tea

TOP 4 TEAMS IN EACH GROUP

After group games teams placed 1–4 goes to A-finals with quarter-final, semi-final and bronze medal and championship game

TEAM 5–6 IN EACH GROUP

After group games teams placed 5–6 till B-finals semi-final and championship game

PLAYOFF GAMES

Plays 2 x 15 minutes with overtime

RULES

Games will be played according to the Swedish Ice Hockey Association's rules for U13.

REGISTRATION & FEES

TEAM FEE                    6 000 SEK     INCLUDING CUP AND MEDALS

PLAYER FEE                         900 SEK     PER PLAYER,  INCLUDES FOOD

STAFF FEE                       800 SEK     (3 STAFF MEMBERS INCLUDED IN TEAM FEE)

The team fee includes snacks and fruit in the changing rooms, an additional meal of nutritious food per day, (lunch or dinner, depending on the game schedule) for all players and 3 leaders per team throughout the tournament. Medals for all players, trophy for the three highest placed teams in the tournament and for the winner of the B final. Each team must consist of at least 15+2 players (maximum 23 players and 5 staff members).

Registration fee SEK 3,000 SEK, incl. VAT is paid in connection with confirmed registration and is non-refundable. The remaining team fee SEK 3,000 and player/extra manager fee SEK 350/250 per player/manager must be paid no later than October 15, 2023. Turex Cup may be oversubscribed, do not wait with your registration. The organizer reserves the right to choose from the entries received. In the event of oversubscription, the registration fee will be refunded.

ACCOMMODATION

We offer three levels of accommodation.

HARD FLOOR

Sleeps on the floor on air mattress, sleeping pad, sleeping bag at a local school, Nobla skolan.

HOSTEL

Living at a hostel close by, Tollare folkhögskola.

HOTEL

Hotel accomodation.
