Safety and first aid

SAFETY PLAN

The tournament follows the safety plan of Hakio Ice Sports Center. In addition to the official safety plan, the following rules must be observed:

Playing in hallways, stands, and locker rooms is strictly prohibited.
Players are only allowed on the ice with proper equipment.
Player benches, locker rooms, and corridors are reserved for players and team staff only.
Spectators must watch games from the stands.
Cheering is allowed and encouraged, but shouting at coaches, players, referees, game officials, or opponents is strictly prohibited.
Teams are requested to clean locker rooms after use.
Avoid walking inside the arena with outdoor shoes.

INSURANCE

Players and team staff are not insured by the tournament organizer. Each player and team official must have valid personal insurance. The organizer is not responsible for any accidents or injuries.

FIRST AID

A first aid trained person will be present throughout the tournament days.

Teams are expected to handle minor injuries themselves using their own supplies such as bandages and ice packs.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

The emergency department of the new Ahvenisto Assi Hospital, operated by the Wellbeing Services County of Kanta-Häme, is located approximately 2 km from Hakio Ice Sports Center. Emergency services are intended for urgent and serious cases.

In Kanta-Häme, a national medical helpline is available at the number +358 116 117. Always call this free number before considering visiting emergency services. A nurse will call you back as soon as possible.

In life threatening situations, call 112:

Tell what has happened

Answer all questions from the emergency operator as accurately as possible
Follow the instructions given
Do not hang up until you are told to do so
Guide emergency personnel to the location
Call again if the situation changes before help arrives
