Tournament Rules
Matches will be played according to the Finnish Ice Hockey Association (SJL) rules for the U14 age group, with specific tournament-related adjustments.
The effective playing time for matches is 2 x 15 minutes. Detailed tournament rules will be published on the tournament website. Each team will play 6–8 matches.
The tournament is intended for players born in 2013. The "Y-rule" (allowing players born in 2012 or earlier) does not apply to this tournament. Association rules regarding female players apply; specifically, girls up to two years older than the age group are permitted to play. If necessary, teams should contact the tournament organizer beforehand; the organizer may grant permission for exceptions to the rules in special cases at their discretion.
Detailed rules will be published on the tournament website during November 2026.
Respect the Game
Players, staff, and parents of the Pelicans Valkoinen 2013 (U14) team are committed to "Respect the Game" principles, which include, among other things, polite behavior and respect for others. We expect the same from participating teams and their supporters.
