Event rules

The tournament follows SJL's competition and junior rules, with the exceptions listed below: Referee reports are not processed by the tournament jury but are referred to the disciplinary officer of the area of the team in question.
 

Match time
Match time is 2 x 15min effective time. Pause between the periods is 1min. The total playing time is 50min. Total time starts at the time stated on the game plan, unless otherwise stated by tournament management. Time-out is not available in the tournament
Teams must be in the vicinity of the rink five (5) minutes before the scheduled match time with their equipment on, ready to start the match. If a team does not arrive on the pitch as scheduled, it is judged to have lost 5-0.
Warm-ups are not allowed on the ice, but the game starts immediately with the starting lines.
 

Determination of series ranking
The tournament is played as a simple series where each team plays once against each other in their group. In the series, two (2) points are awarded for a win, one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) points for a loss.
In the event of a tie in the preliminary rounds, the ranking between the teams will be decided in the order indicated in the table below:
1. Points from head-to-head matches
2. Head-to-head goal difference
3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches
4. Goal difference in all matches
5. Goals scored in all matches
6. Penalties (a smaller amount is considered an advantage)
7. Draw
 

Ranking matches
Based on the preliminary round standings, quarter-finals and semi-finals as well as ranking matches will be played according to the tournament chart. In qualifying and medal matches, if the game ends in a tie after regular time, the shootout is immediately resumed.
In the AA/AAA series, the top two finishers from each group advance to the quarter-finals and play for places 1-8, and the third and fourth place finishers in each group similarly play a ranking match for places 9-16.
In Series A, all teams advance to the quarter-finals.
a. The winning goal competition starts with three (3) different players/teams, which the coach of the team informs to the referee of the match immediately after the end of the game time.
b. If the score is still tied after three shots, the competition continues in pairs with players who did not shoot yet in the winning goal contest on a sudden death basis until the winner of the match is determined. 
c. The winning goal contest is started by the away team marked in the program.
d. Only the decisive goal is recorded in the result of the match. The decisive goal is recorded for the player who completed the shot.
 

Players and jerseys
The tournament is open to players registered with registered teams. A player can only represent one team during a tournament weekend. Goalkeepers can be played by all teams participating in the tournament for a specific club. If only one goalkeeper has been named to a team, the team can borrow it from another team in the tournament if the goalkeeper is injured or ill. 
To play as a goalkeeper in a placement match, the goalkeeper must have played in that position in that specific team in the preliminary round of at least one match.
A-level teams are allowed to have a so-called overage players in accordance with competition rules and regional regulations. Similarly, exemptions made by the federation for teams in current league matches will be considered. 
The home team marked on the schedule plays in dark jerseys and the away team plays in light jerseys. If the team only has one set of shirts at its disposal, the team agrees well in advance on the shirt colors to be used with the opponent.
 

Referees
The tournament will be judged by official SJL referees


Penalties
By decision of the referee, a player may be given a game penalty (GP) in the game in question.  With regard to game penalties, Section 11 SUSPENSIONS of the competition rules applies. 
A game penalty (GP) always leads to disciplinary proceedings and can therefore always lead to a game or activity ban. During the hearing, the player is allowed to play unless his accrual of conduct penalties was met or the game penalty (GP) was awarded in the final time of the match. GP for a team official will automatically result in the team official being banned for the next three (3) matches. The disciplinary officer may separately impose a longer ban for the case in question.
A game penalty for violence in U14 and younger will automatically result in a ban for the next match. The disciplinary officer may separately impose a longer suspension for the case in question.
GP causes the player to have one entry in the accumulation of behavioral penalties.
 

Schedule changes
The tournament management has the right to change the schedules and order of matches if the situation so requires.
 

Accidents and player insurance
The organizers have not insured the players and are not responsible for any injuries or injuries that may occur to the players. All players and officials participating in the tournament must be insured in accordance with SJL rules. The organizer is not responsible for any theft that may occur during the tournament.
 

Objections
The judges' decisions are final and there is no possibility of objection in the tournament.
