In the tournament, the valid competition rules of the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation (U14 age group) are followed, supplemented by the special rules and exceptions presented here.
The teams are divided into two groups of four teams, where they face each other once. The group ranking determines which ranking the team will play in the last match (Group winners to the final, group to the 2nd bronze match, etc..).
Thus, all the teams in the tournament will have a total of four games.
The playing time for all matches is 2 * 15 minutes of EFFECTIVE playing time (max 45 min) and possible ties in the medal matches will be decided by a shootout.
If the team receives a team penalty for delaying the game during the last two minutes of the total time, a penalty shot will be awarded to the opposing team. The penalty kick is completed even if the total playing time has already ended.
A team gets 2 points for a match win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. When two or more teams are tied, the order of the tied teams is decided as follows:

The game time is 2x15 min effective game time (maximum 45 min total time). The length of the set break is 1 minute.
The official time of the tournament is the time indicated by the clock on the wall of the hall. The teams must be ready in 5 min. before the start of the match. The match starts immediately after the ice run and the goals are placed in place. Overtime is not allowed. Fanning on the pitch is only allowed for the player on the pitch who has scored a goal.
If the team does not arrive on the field according to the schedule or does not finish the match, it is sentenced to lose the match 5 - 0. The time limit for being late is 10 minutes after the start time indicated in the match schedule.
In accordance with the Competition and Junior Rules of the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation and the IIHF Rulebook. Game penalties and/or match penalties received by officials for conduct will automatically result in disqualification from the tournament. A game penalty received by a player for behavior automatically leads to a one match ban in the tournament and a match penalty causes suspension from the tournament.
In the tournament, the aim is to have an equal draw of five in accordance with the junior rules of the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation. Player lists with game numbers must be submitted electronically by the time specified in advance. The player list must be notified to the tournament office before the team's first game in the tournament, if it differs from the one notified to the tournament organizers in advance. The minutes of the matches are available at the address to be announced later.
Players registered in registered teams (ice hockey association game pass) can participate in the tournament.
If only one goalkeeper has been named to the team, if the goalkeeper is injured or ill, the team can later name another goalkeeper (taking into account the level) or borrow it from another team in the tournament.
Possible objections will be handled by the tournament jury. Only the team leader can make an objection. The jury can hear or take a statement from the referee of the match regarding the objection. Objections must be submitted in writing to the tournament office no later than 30 minutes after the end of the match. The objection fee is €100, which will be returned if the objection is accepted.
The organizers have not insured the players and are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may happen to the players. The same applies to team officials. All players and officials participating in the tournament must be insured in accordance with the rules of the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation. On the part of the tournament organizer, there will be a first aid on call throughout the tournament in all ice rinks. The organizer is not responsible for possible cases of theft during the tournament.
The home team marked in the match program plays in dark jerseys and the team marked as the away team in light jerseys. If the team only has one set of shirts, the team agrees on the shirt colors to be used with the opponent well in advance of the matches.
