Tournament Rules

The tournament schedule will be clarified when we receive the registration information by the end of February. The tournament is organized so that all teams have a total of 5 matches in the tournament.

The teams must ensure that the players are ready in good time before the start of their own match. Each team must be ready and waiting to enter the field 5 minutes before the start time of the match. – PRIZE's ARE NOT EXCHANGED BETWEEN TEAMS IN THE TOURNAMENT.

The tournament follows the SJL's Leijonaliga rules together with these tournament rules. The matches are played on half the field. Normal-sized hockey goals are used as goals, and the puck is black. The matches are played with 4 vs 4 field players + goalkeepers.

The tournament is intended for players born in 2015 and younger. If there are e.g. players born on the 14th and in the 15th age group training and playing in the clubs participating in the tournament, they must be notified to the tournament organization in advance. "Over-age" players should also be placed so that they are divided into several game groups, if possible. For girl players, SJL policies are followed.

The course of the match, gambling and other rules related to playing

NOTE! The first mentioned team of the match pair in the match schedule is the home team of the game and therefore also plays in the home shirts.

If the club has more than one playing group in the tournament, they are asked to form equal teams. All players of the team must be played evenly during the match. The responsibility for equally intimidating the players rests with the team coaches and game directors of the matches. After noticing or receiving a notification, the match director must point out the team that committed the foul and ask them to correct the situation immediately, for example by changing the players on the field.

The duration of the match is 24 minutes of running time. The game clock is not stopped during substitutions. Exchanges take place every 2 minutes with a sound signal or an announcement. Exchanges are carried out in the so-called as flying substitutions, and the game is not interrupted for substitutions. The game continues automatically with the puck dropped by the game director. If the so-called a player who doubles, he must also tap the side of his own goalpost with a stick before he can go in search of a kirikiko. If a goal has been scored in connection with the substitution, the game is started in the middle, as always after a goal.

After a goal or an unexpected stoppage, the game is restarted with a central restart. When the goalkeeper closes the puck, the referee orders the attacking team to withdraw to half the field, so that the defending team can start the game from behind their own goal.

If the referee notices a foul on the field worthy of suspension, he blows the whistle and goes through the foul with the player who committed the foul. If the act is repeated or egregious, the offending player may be escorted to the substitution box prematurely. If this happens, the offending team may put another player on the ice in place of the offending player, i.e. understrength is not played.

The clock will be stopped if circumstances prevent the game from continuing (such as the intermediate board falling completely, etc.). The referee decides to stop the game clock. The use of time allowance is not allowed. The management of the tournament has the right to change the playing time for justified reasons.

The matches played are children's games, so any shouting or bad behavior towards the referees, opponents or other bystanders is strictly prohibited. The referees and the tournament organization have the right to remove misbehaving adults from the ice rink - both from the changing area and from the stands. If, for example, there is something to point out in the refereeing, you can come to the tournament office to discuss the matter.

During the tournament, in addition to the organizer, only the necessary staff of the playing groups are allowed to move in the changing enclosures and near the rinks. The public must watch the matches from the stands.
