Draws:
Teams are divided into two preliminary round groups of four teams in each group. Teams play against every team in their group which means three games per team during Saturday.
From both preliminary round groups two best teams will continue in upper continuation group and other two teams in lower continuation group. Teams play against every team in their continuation group which means three games per team on Sunday too.
All together every team will play six games during the tournament.
Games and rules:
Duration of each game is 30 minutes effective time. However, total time of the game can not exceed 45 minutes. The games are played on full-size ice-hockey rink with the official E-junior rules of the Finnish Ice Hockey Assosiation. Home team play with dark-colored jersey and away team with light-colored jersey.
Winning team gets 2 points and in case of draws both teams get 1 point. The order of the teams in the group is decided by 1. points 2. goal difference 3. own goals 4. lottery
Players are allowed to play in the tournament if they are born in 2005 or 2006. In addition, also the older players are allowed if they have played in the same team during the season 2014-2015 and Finnish Ice Hockey Assosiation have given permission to these players prior to the season.
Tournament Jury:
Jury of the tournament consists of Terhi Vainikka and the referee of the game. All protests must be given in written form latest ten minutes after the game has ended. Protest fee is 150 € which needs to paid in cash. The fee will be refunded in case jury accepts the protest.
Rewards:
Winning team of the tournament gets a trophy and all players will get a diploma. One player from every team will be rewarded with a fighter reward. Team officials need to inform the name of the player to the tournament official before their last game. Rewards will be given after the last games of Sunday.
Responsibility and liability:
Tournament organization is not responsible for any of the injuries or other possible damages. There will be medical help available for first-aid but in other cases normal emergency call to 112 should be made.
