LähiTapiola Turnaus 2019

Welcome to LähiTapiola junior ice hockey tournament on 5th to 7th of April 2019

LähiTapiola tournament is going to be organized in the new LähiTapiola Arena at Killeri area and in the Hippos ice training complex at Jyväskylä. The sponsor of the tournament will be LähiTapiola Keski-Suomi for the sixth year in a row. LähiTapiola is a major insurance company in Finland.

Our target is to get junior ice hockey teams from age groups F1/U10, F2/U9 and G/U8-U7 in total 60 teams. The tournament fee is in the F08-series 555€ per team (a club can register several teams to tournament) and in F09 and G10/11/girls series 455€ per team (a club can register several teams to tournament). The F1-09 series will be played in whole ice rink and the other age groups in a half rink. We as an organization want to thank all the teams that have chosen us from the great number of junior tournaments. Many teams will arrive to Jyväskylä year after year so it is great that you have experienced us as a good tournament organizers and already registered to the tournament. There are still spots open so we wait for your team to register to the tournament as soon as possible. Before the first face-off of the tournament takes place we have made various preparations in the background through fall and winter through days and evenings. We continue to update the tournament charts when more teams have registered. When we get further information concerning the target number of teams (60) we will bring into focus the visiting teams’ accommodations, eating, hold meetings, agree on partnerships etc.

LähiTapiola tournaments ice hockey events are carried out by our junior teams players, voluntary parents and by JYP Junior`s Director of Coaching Mikko Viitanen. Without the contribution of our players parents this tournament wouldn’t be organized at this scale. LähiTapiola tournament is really a great sample of voluntary work!
