Renta Cup 2025

Welcome to Renta Cup 2025!

Four teams will battle for the championship in this exciting tournament! Throughout the day, each team will play four games – three in the round-robin stage and one in the medal round. Get ready for fast-paced hockey, competitive spirit, and fair play!

Tournament Format

• 4 teams
• Each team plays 4 games (3 round-robin games + 1 medal game)
• Game duration: 2 x 20 min (running clock, last 2 minutes stop-time)

Scoring System:

• Win: 3 points
• Shootout win: 2 points
• Shootout loss: 1 point
• All ties are decided by a sudden-death shootout (home team shoots first)
• The top two teams advance to the final, while the other two teams play for bronze
• In case of a tie in standings, head-to-head result determines the ranking

Rules: No slap shots, no body checking, no fighting. Any penalty exceeding 5 minutes = ejection from the tournament.
Icing follows hybrid icing rules.

Medal Games

• Bronze & Final: 2 x 20 min (stop-time)
• Ties are decided by a shootout: Best of three, then sudden death (home team shoots first).

Facilities & Catering

• Each team will have snacks provided in the locker room
• Meals available at the rink café from 11:00 AM onwards
