Haukat U8 kauden päätösturnaus 2025 (TÄYNNÄ)

13.4.2025 Järvenpää jäähalli | Finland

U8 RULES

We follow the rules of the Lions League

GAME FORMAT: 4+1 vs 4+1

GAME AREA: All tournament games are played on half the field. The field is divided in half by the red line. Two matches are played in the rink simultaneously.

GAME TIME: 26 minutes of direct time. Substitutions are announced by the buzzer every 2 minutes, at which point the game is automatically interrupted. The game official resolves disputes caused by the substitution time independently. The game clock is not stopped during substitutions. Substitutions are made without delay and the game official can start the game while the substitution is in progress if he believes that the team is deliberately delaying.

GAME EQUIPMENT: A blue puck is used in the tournament.

GAME PROCESS: The game starts with a center kickoff and after each goal the game also continues with a center kickoff. When the goalkeeper closes the puck, the game official blows the whistle and the attacking team moves to their own half of the field. The goalie puts the puck in play and play always continues from behind the goal. If the puck goes over the sides, play continues with a center kickoff.

FIVE-GOAL DIFFERENCE: When the other team is ahead by at least five goals, the losing team may put a fifth skater on the ice. When the goal difference is reduced to four, play continues with a tie.

If more than one team from the same club participates in the tournament, the teams must be as evenly matched as possible. All players on the team must be played evenly throughout the tournament.

GAME CONTROL AND REFEREEING: The organizing team, Haukat, will organize the game control and online score service (no player-specific statistics).

PENALTIES: In the event of a foul, the game controller will stop the game and inform the player who committed the foul. For repeated or clearly intentional fouls, the player will be removed from the field for the duration of the final substitution. The team penalized for the final substitution will play with three fewer players until the next substitution.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS IN CASES OF INTENTIONAL INJURY OR ATTEMPT TO INJURY ANOTHER PLAYER

If a player is guilty of intentionally injuring or attempting to injure another player during a match, the game director may impose a match penalty on the player. If a player is guilty of gross intentional injuring or attempting to injure another player, the game director of the match, together with the tournament director, may impose a one- or two-match suspension on the player or exclude the player from the tournament.

UNCERTAINTY IN MATCHES: In cases of doubt, the team has the right to make an inquiry to the match jury. The inquiry must be made within 15 minutes of the end of the match. The inquiry must be made in writing and addressed to the tournament director.

POINTS AND RANKING IN THE TOURNAMENT: Points for a win 2, a draw 1 and a loss 0

If the play-offs or the placement matches end in a draw, the winner will be decided by a tie in the winning goal competition.

If two or more teams end up with the same points in the group, their mutual ranking will be decided in the following order:

  1. points
  2. points from mutual matches
  3. goal difference from group matches
  4. goals scored in group matches
  5. draw
