BLUES JUNIORS F1 CCM TOURNAMENT

Blues Juniors is pleased to invite teams in Finland, Russia, Sweden and other surrounding countries to International junior ice hockey tournament in Espoo/Finland at 9-10 April 2016.

The tournament is for AAA and AA levels of teams where teams may enroll to a preferred level.

The objective is to have 20 play groups to participate in two-day tournament where each play group plays 5-6 matches.

Tournament rules are following Finnish Ice Hockey association junior rules (E-junior rules, with full rink). We are playing with full rink and 5 players+goalie  and with black colored puck (adult puck). Most of the official rules (penalties, offsides) are followed but some may be skipped for the interest of keeping the tight tournament schedule. Tournament rules are published latest two weeks prior the tournament.

The venue of the tournament is called Warrior Areena (last season called Reebok Areena) in Espoo in the capital area of Finland, with modern services available. During the tournament, we will serve lunch for teams with additional fee. The play schedule will be planned having long distance travelers in mind (no early Saturday games or late Sunday).
Best three teams win a trophy, all players receive a medal.

For travelling teams, we are happy to assist with lodging and local shuttle service arrangements. Nearest hotels are in walking distance with pre-negotiated rates.

We are currently accepting pre-registrations. The teams invited to the tournament will be chosen latest Dec 2015.
