SM-Turnaus 2026

Location: Lempäälä, Pirkanmaa
Date: 3–4 July 2026
Venue: Lempäälä Ice Hall (multisport playing surface, ice hockey rink)

The Finnish Ballhockey Association will organize its eighth Finnish Championship tournament in Lempäälä in the summer of 2026. The tournament will be played in an ice hockey rink according to international ISBHF rules.

Assemble a team, book a place and come fight for Finnish Championship gold in the summer of 2026.

A great offer for new teams of only €350 (includes supporter membership and participation fee)

Association membership fee: €100

This is how it will be played in 2026:

- Games will be played in an ice hockey rink and in a 5vs5 game format.
- Game time 2x15min and each team is promised at least 3 games in the tournament.
- In the tournament, each player must have a union player pass (20€/player) and the players in the tournament must have insurance. (There may be other seasons than the union's sports insurance 2026, price 240€)
- We recommend at least 3 chain players per team. (However, your team must have at least 10+1)
- Mandatory equipment: Helmet, stick, gloves and uniform team uniform. Equipment must be so-called hidden. Exception: knee pads of knee pads may be visible under socks.
- Recommended equipment: shin guards, lower guards, elbow guards, it would be recommended for teams to have common equipment (same color helmets & socks & shorts)
- The Finnish Championship tournament is played according to the rules of the International ISBHF. (5 vs 5).
- Game time at least 2 x 15min (efficient)

The matches will be streamed during the tournament.
There will be a kiosk at the tournament site, where you can get snacks and drinks throughout the event.

Places will be filled in the order they are received. A maximum of 10 teams can participate.
