RULES

Fields: Telia 5G Areena, Sahara, HS Areena, Pallokenttä 6.  The fields are high quality artificial-grass pitches. All fields are located in the same area, Töölö Helsinki.  
(Distance from City center 1 kilometer) 

Dates: 12.4.-14.4.2019 Series: G13, (-06), G12 (-07), G11 (-08) and G10 (-09). 
 
The tournament is for the elite teams only. Teams will be invited to the tournament. Entry fee is 270€ per team (Hotel is not included). 
Every team will play 6 matches in the tournament: 4 in the Group Phase and 2 in playoff-rounds. Three best teams will be awarded. 

Teams are playing in four groups, each 5 teams. Group winners will play play-off positions 1-4, second place teams will play positins 5-8, third place positions 9-12 and so on.

In case of even points in the end of the group stage, the standings will be solved as follows:
1. Points from mutual games 
2. Goal difference in the group 
3. Goals scored in the group 
4. Toss. 

In playoff-stage draws will be solved with penalty shootout. Extra time won't be played. Players who have been on the pitch when the game ends are allowed to participate in penalty shootout. Only goal keeper can be substituted in case of injury. There will be only three (3) players taking part. If one team is not ahead on goals after these kicks, the shootout will proceed to sudden death.

Teams must be dressed and ready at least 10 minutes before the match.

A player who has received a red card is banned for at least the following match in the same group in which the player was red-carded. The tournament jury will decide on any possible additional penalties that may be given.

In the event that the team uniforms cannot be distinguished from each other, the team mentioned later in the match program (visiting team) will have to change their uniforms. The goal keeper’s shirt must be clearly different from the other player’s shirts.

Referees are approved by the Football Association of Finland 

All disagreements and objections relating to the competition are resolved by a three member jury appointed by the organizers. The jury’s decisions are final.

In the event of any disagreements concerning breaking the rules or otherwise, you can make an official objection. Objections to the quality of pitches or equipment will not be investigated if an objection has not been lodged with the referee prior to the match. If the objection concerns a referee’s decision, the referee must be notified immediately after the match before the referee leaves the venue. In the event of an objection, you must make your case in detail and submit a EUR 200 objection charge, which will be returned if your objection is sustained. Objections must be made in writing to the Helsinki Cup tournament office within one hour of the end of the match. The jury’s decisions are final.

Every player must have insurance that covers hospital costs in case of injury during the tournament.
